I originally composed this for a stage play about suicide letters written by people from all walks of life. Nepenthe was a fictitious drug that people in the stories from Homer took to relieve the suffering of grief. This piece was influenced heavily by my love for the band Weather Report and electronic trumpeter Jon Hassell.
